Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) more popularly known as Aisling Bea, is an Irish actress writer and comedian. After appearing in bit parts on a number of Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea began her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. Bea began performing frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms later in the year. In the wake of her success at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel show. The surname of Bea is in honor of her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh'Sullivan' was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life after Bea turned three, was a sufferer of self-harm. The news of his passing at thirteen years of age. Her parents were obsessed by racing and horses. Bea was a child a Tour Guide for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she didn't want the racing industry.
